Fall In Love With Jumpsuits

As it cools down, as it’s sure to do in Chicago, I’ll throw on a fitted turtleneck under the jumpsuit + rock it longer.

While warm weather breezed in late, it’s that time of the year summer loving babes like myself,  relish in every moment of adventure outdoors in the summer has to offer.  I live for warm weather months in Chicago but so far, I’ve spent summer traveling.  For the first time in a while, I’m basking in being in Chicago from four straight weekends of city-hopping on the Make Your Mark: Personal Branding Through ‘On-Purpose’ Living book tour. Using my in between downtime, visiting with friends and family, eating blue crabs and planning my life. Y’all know, the hustle is real.

While I’m trying not to prematurely dread having to say bye-bye to the beautiful, warm-playful days of this long-awaited Chicago summer, I couldn’t help but notice at the magazine stands at the airport, cover after cover was filled with beautiful images of the season’s incredible fall trends. From high-gloss images of white ankle boots, an invasion of polka dots, and long sleeve jumpsuits- the warm welcoming of fall invaded the air. With the fall only a month out, I guess it’s not too soon to get excited about our new street style, fall outfits, new fall fashion ideas. On top of thinking about the newest fashion trends, it’s just as thrilling to anticipate the refreshing and cleansing transition the start of new season offers. Another opportunity to not only reset our wardrobe with new and improved fashion styling ideas,  but reflect over the year, milestones accomplished, and the goals we’re actively working towards. Yup, we’ve got to stay on top of those goals, it’s the only way we’ll get where we want to be.

Bringing it back to the moment, I’m grateful its 78 degrees and sunny in Chicago.  I pulled out a fun Rebecca Taylor denim jumpsuit, I grabbed at Nordstrom last month. I love this jumpsuit almost as much for its soft and lush denim, as for its unique side and back cut-out design.  I grabbed my fave,  Gucci Mini Dionysus GG Supreme Wallet, a pair of snake-skin sandals, my Michelle Deco Diamond Dial watch a super clean white face silver-link watch that’s been measuring up for years, and of course, my go-to diamonds studs to hit downtown Chicago’s Magnificent Mile in search of what new fall fashion, street style or fall outfit inspiration I could find. Stay tuned. ; )
